CRISPIX, FRITOS, AND NUTS SNACK MIX

1 (17 oz.) box Crispix
1 (15 oz.) bag of small Fritos
2 small cans mixed nuts
2 sticks (1 cup) butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup Karo light syrup

Combine first 3 ingredients in a roaster pan.

Combine the next 3 ingredients and boil 2 minutes. Pour over cereal mix in pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes and stir. Bake another 8 minutes.

Place on wax paper to cool. Break apart as it is cooling.

My daughter is a para educator. One of the teachers brought this snack mix to school for a staff meeting last month. The full pan was gone in no time. Enjoy!
