ONE-STEP TAMALE PIE
1 pound ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cans (8 ounce each) seasoned tomato sauce 1 cup milk 2 slightly beaten eggs 1 (12 ounce) can whole kernel corn drained 1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives few dashes bottle hot pepper sauce 3/4 cup yellow corn meal 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder 2 teaspoons salt
In large skillet, cook ground been, onion and garlic till meat is browned and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients; turn into 11 1/2x7 1/2x1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cut in squares.
