CARNATION FAMOUS FUDGE
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 2/3 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk 2 tbsp butter or margarine 1/4 tsp salt 2 cups miniature marshmallows 1 1/2 cups Nestle Toll House Semi-sweet Chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 1 tsp vanilla extract
Butter 8-inch square pan (for thicker fudge, use a 7x5-inch loaf pan).
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts, and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows melt completely. Pour into pan.
Cool before cutting into squares.
Makes 2 pounds fudge
