BAKED CARAMEL APPLES
4 large apples 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 1 tablespoon flour 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup boiling water 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Peel, core and quarter the apples; place in 2 quart baking dish.
Melt butter in medium saucepan; blend in flour. Add brown sugar and boiling water, stirring over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Add marshmallows and continue stirring until melted.
Bring sauce to boil; pour over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, basting with sauce occasionally.
Serve warm or cold.
