COCONUT LAYER CAKE
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream 2 c. granulated sugar 4 (6 to 8 oz. each) pkg. frozen coconut (24 to 28 oz. total) Duncan Hines golden butter recipe cake mix or your favorite homemade yellow layer cake
Frosting: Dissolve together sour cream and sugar. Add coconut. Refrigerate overnight. Frost cake. Store in refrigerator.
Cake: Bake your favorite yellow layer cake or use Duncan Hines golden butter recipe mix. Bake according to package directions. Cool and frost with coconut frosting.
