RICE BREAD

Any type of rice may be used for different flavors of bread, such as brown, wild, basmati, white, etc.

SMALL LOAF:
1/2 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup water
2 tsp. butter/margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 tsp. yeast

MEDIUM LOAF:
2/3 cup cooked rice
2/3 cup water
1 Tnsp. butter/margarine
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. sugar
2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp. yeast

LARGE LOAF:
2 1/2 tsp yeast
3 cups bread flour
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/3 tbsp butter
1 cup water
1 cup cooked rice

Put ingredients in bread machine as suggested by manufacturer.
Bake as per directed for size of loaf selected.

Rice doubles in volume when cooked. For example, cook 1/4 cup of rice grains in 1/2 cup water to obtain 1/2 cup cooked rice or just use leftover rice.
