VEGGIE PLATTER WITH GRILLED KIELBASA AND RED-HOT SAUCE
FOR THE VEGGIE PLATTER: Kale for garnishing the platter carrots, jicama, broccoli, celery, cauliflower and grape tomatoes FOR THE RED-HOT SAUCE: 1 1/2 cups bottled Heinz Chili Sauce 1/3 cup apple jelly 2 tbsp. Heinz Cider Vinegar 1 tbsp. dry mustard 2 tbsp. Heinz Worcestershire Sauce 1 tbsp. red hot sauce Cayenne pepper to taste FOR THE SAUSAGE: 3 lbs. fully cooked kielbasa
TO PREPARE THE VEGGIE PLATTER: Arrange vegetables on the outer edge of a very large serving platter lined with kale. Keep the vegetable platter chilled until ready to serve.
TO MAKE THE RED-HOT SAUCE: Blend all ingredients together and taste for seasoning.
TO PREPARE THE SAUSAGE: Grill the sausages until brown and heated through.
TO SERVE: Cut the sausages into chunks on an angle. Arrange sausage pieces in the center of the vegetable platter. Place toothpicks in each piece of sausage for easy serving. Serve with a bowl of the Red-Hot Sauce.
