Recipe: Onion-Mushroom Rice Mix

ONION-MUSHROOM RICE MIX

3 cups long grain rice
1 envelope regular-onion-mushroom soup mix
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
2 tsp crushed dried basil

Combine all ingredients. Store in air tight container. Stir before measuring. Makes 3 cups.

TO PREPARE THE RICE MIX:
Combine 1 cup mix and 1/4 teaspoon salt with 2 cups water. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
