RUM BALLS
1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs 1 cup powdered sugar 1 1/2 cups finely chopped nuts 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup 1/4 cup rum
Combine crumbs, sugar, 1 cup of the nuts, cocoa and syrup, mix well. Add rum and mix again.
Roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in the 1/2 cup of nuts or in granulated sugar. (Sugar may be tinted with food coloring.)
Allow to set for 1 hour and then store in an airtight container. |
