MEATY PIZZA TREATS1/2 pound ground sirloin
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
5 whole English muffins, split in half
1 cup shredded part skim Mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
In a small skillet, cook the meat until done. Drain any excess grease.
Add the tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and salt and pepper, mixing well.
Place each muffin half on a baking sheet. Spread the top of each muffin half with the meat mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the muffins are toasted.
