ROASTED APPENDAGES
4 lb chicken drumsticks or wings 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce 1/4 cup ketchup 2 tsp grated lemon rind 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, chopped
Remove wing tips from chicken; place drumsticks or wings in heavy plastic bag.
Combine teriyaki sauce, ketchup, lemon rind and juice, oil and garlic; pour over chicken. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or for up to 24 hours, turning bag often.
WHEN READY TO COOK: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Reserving marinade, place chicken on rack on foil-lined baking sheet.
Bake in 400 degree F oven for about 20 minutes. Turn and baste with marinade. Continue to bake about 20 minutes more or until chicken is nicely browned and juices run clear when chicken is pierced.
