FRUIT BAKED IN PARCHMENT PACKETS

2 cups peeled, sliced apples
1 1/2 cups peeled, sliced pears
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 teaspoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine apples, pears, raspberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour in a large bowl; toss gently.

Cut eight, 12-inch squares of parchment paper; fold each in half diagonally, making triangles. Open triangles and place on baking sheets; brush parchment with margarine. Divide fruit mixture among parchment squares. Fold each square, making triangles. Fold edges inward twice to seal.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Place packets on plates. To open, cut a 2-inch "X" in the top of each packet with a sharp knife.
