PAY DAY CANDY BAR CAKE
1 (18 oz) pkg yellow cake mix 1/3 cup margarine, softened 1 egg 3 cups miniature marshmallows 2/3 cup corn syrup 1/4 cup margarine 2 pkg (6 oz each) peanut butter chips 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups Rice Krispies 2 cups peanuts (skinless)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup softened margarine, and egg until crumbly. Press into 9x13 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 F for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows over the top and return to oven for 2 minutes or until marshmallows are puffy.
Combine syrup, 1/4 cup margarine, and peanut butter chips in a saucepan and heat until chips are melted.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Stir in Rice Krispies and peanuts. Spoon over marshmallows. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve at room temperature. Cut into bars.
