SUNDAE SAUCE
"Pour this smooth sauce over ice cream, pound cake or frozen yogurt."
1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 cup heavy (whipping) cream 1/2 cup butter or margarine (1 stick) 2 tsp vanilla
In heavy 2 quart saucepan, heat sugar, cocoa, cream, and butter to boiling over medium heat stirring frequently.
Remove sauce pan from heat. Stir in vanilla.
Cool sauce slightly to serve warm or cool completely to serve later.
Cover and refrigerate up to 1 week. Reheat before using.
