WATERMELON SLUSH

"Frozen watermelon becomes a delicious frosty drink."

3 cups watermelon cubes, seeded
1 1/2 cups lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
1/8 teaspoon salt
colored sugar crystals

To freeze watermelon, arrange cubes on baking sheet, keeping cubes separated. Freeze until firm (3-4 hours).

Spoon frozen watermelon into blender. Add lemon-lime beverage and salt. Blend on high speed until smooth and thick.

Place sugar in shallow dish. Dip rim of each glass in slush mixture; dip in sugar to coat rim. Spoon slush mixture into glasses.

Tip:
Frozen watermelon cubes can be stored in freezer food storage bags for later use.

Amount: 6 (5-ounce) servings (4 cups)
