CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES
1 pkg. Betty Crocker Super Moist German Chocolate Cake Mix FOR THE TOPPING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 egg 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inches).
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into pan.
For the topping, mix together the remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto batter. Cut through batter with knife or metal spatula several times for marbled effect. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired.
Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center or when wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean 25 to 30 minutes.
