CABBAGE AU GRATIN
1 1/2 cups cooked chopped cabbage, drained 3/4 cup medium white sauce (recipe follows) 3 tablespoons grated cheese 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
Mix cabbage and white sauce together. Pour into greased baking dish; cover with grated cheese and bread crumbs.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE
1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon flour 1/4 teaspoon salt fre grains pepper 3/4 cup milk
Melt butter; add flour, salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute. Add milk and bring just to boiling point, stirring constantly.
