ORANGE TOAST
2 eggs, beaten 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. grated orange rind 1/4 c. orange juice Dash salt 6 slices bread Butter or margarine
Combine beaten eggs, milk, sugar, orange rind, juice and salt. Mix well. Dip bread slices in egg mixture lightly coating both sides.
Heat butter or margarine in a skillet and brown bread on both sides in it.
Serve at once with honey, syrup or applesauce, or place fresh or frozen strawberries or peaches between two layers of toast, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and serve as a dessert.
