APPLE CRUMBLE4 cups sliced apples
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water
FOR THE TOPPING:
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
Place sliced apples in a buttered 10x6x2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon, salt and 1/4 cup water.
TO MAKE THE TOPPING: Rub together flour, sugar and 1/3 cup butter. Drop mixture over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm with cream.
