BANANA SLUSH PUNCH"This is a great punch. We've served it at all kinds of receptions and parties. It never fails to get compliments. In place of 2 quarts of the mixer; add champagne for a lovely morning punch. We have also used rum and vodka. This punch seems to go well with any liquor." 5 bananas 1 (12 oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate 1 (6 oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate 2 to 3 cups sugar 1 (46 oz) can pineapple juice water TO SERVE:4 quarts club soda, ginger ale or lemon-lime drink, chilled Mash bananas thoroughly and add slightly thawed frozen juices. Sprinkle sugar over mixture. Add pineapple juice, stirring well to dissolve the sugar. Put into a gallon container and fill with water. Freeze to a slush. TO SERVE:Put mixture into a two gallon punch bowl and add the mixers. If lemon-lime or ginger ale is used, use less sugar. This punch base can be frozen and kept indefinitely. Allow several hours for the mixture to reach the slush stage before serving. From: Mrs. Dudley Baker (Kathy) Source: Best of Lone Star Legacy by Austin, Jr. Forum
