This recipe comes from a community cookbook titled Mellennium Cookbook from the Des Plaines Community Senior Center. It sounds good, but I'm confused by the instructions, which I have posted as they appear in the book. Has anyone ever heard of cooking something without the lid on a crockpot? It doesn't say how low to cook it without the lid, either. Anyone have any ideas?
