This is a recipe that I originally got from The Hunts Food Company and I have been making it since about 1973. Very yummy and easy.

CALIFORNIA PORK CHOPS - Serves Two

Brown two thin pork chops (or two pork steaks) in a little olive oil in a heavy skillet.

While the chops are browning, get out a two-cup measuring cup. Measure into the measuring cup:
1/2 cup ketchup
1 generous Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup brown sugar

Mix together and then add water to make two cups sauce.

Pour over browned chops, lower heat, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes, turning meat at least once. Done when fork-tender. Serve over rice, couscous or mashed potatoes.

Enjoy.
