CHOCOLATE-PEANUT BUTTER SAUCE1 1/4 cups heavy (whipping) cream
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 cup creamy natural peanut butter
Heat cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to bubble around edges.
Turn off heat and add chocolate. Cover pan and let stand 5 minutes.
Add peanut butter and whisk until smooth. Let cool slightly and serve.
TO MAKE AHEAD:
The sauce can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Cover and refrigerate. Sauce can be reheated in a double boiler or microwave. To serve the sauce cold, add another 1/2 cup cream.
