HOT BUTTERED RUM SAUCE
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 cup butter 1/8 tsp salt 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup dark rum 2 tsp vanilla 2 decorative jars (10 oz. each)
In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, salt and sweetened condensed milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
Stir in rum and vanilla. Pour into jars; cover. Store in refrigerator.
Serve warm
