SPICY BROCCOLI BEEF
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed beef broth 1/2 cup water 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided use 4 cups broccoli florets 2 green onions, sliced diagonally 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak, sliced thinly hot cooked rice (for serving)
In bowl, combine broth, water, cornstarch, soy sauce and red pepper; set aside.
Set a 10-inch skillet or wok over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil; when hot, stir-fry broccoli and onions 2 minutes or until tender-crisp. Transfer to bowl.
Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to skillet. When hot, stir-fry beef, half at a time, until color just changes. Transfer to bowl with broccoli.
Stir broth mixture into skillet. Cook over high heat until mixture boils and thickens, stirring often.
Add broccoli-beef mixture; heat through.
Serve over rice, with additional soy sauce, if desired.
