Hi Doris,

In respons to your questions, I haven't made this recipe, but it's one of those recipes where you'll need to work in the flour and feel the dough to know when it's stiff enough for rolling (it will lose it's stickiness). I think that rolling, sprinkling with sugar, and rolling again may make a crisper cookie.
