SUMMER BLAHS LEMONADE"Don’t you just hate summer colds? Have you noticed that when you have one, nobody else does? You need sympathy. You need a treat that’s good and soothing. Try this lemonade when the need arises, or just because you like honey."
1 cup honey
9 cups cold water
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
In a small saucepan, combine the honey and 1 cup of the water. Place over medium heat and stir until homogenized, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool.
In a 1 1/2-quart container, blend the honey syrup, lemon juice, and remaining 8 cups water.
Chill until very cold and serve over ice.
Makes 1 1/2 quarts
