GERMAN BREAKFAST COOKIES
2 big spoons Crisco shortening 4 eggs 2 c. sugar 2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. ground cloves 2 tsp. soda Dash of salt 2 c. buttermilk 4 c. oats, uncooked 4 1/4 c. flour
Cream Crisco, eggs, sugar. Stir in cinnamon, cloves, soda and salt. Stir well and add buttermilk, oatmeal and flour. Take a spoon and put on cookie sheet.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
