EASY KUTCHEN
1/2 c. butter or marg., softened 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1/2 to 1 c. flaked coconut, opt. 1 (20 oz.) can sliced fruit, drain or 2 1/2 c. sliced fresh fruit 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 egg yolk 1 c. dairy sour cream
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Build up on sides. Bake 10 minutes. Arrange fruit on warm crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on fruit. Blend sour cream and egg yolk drizzle over fruit (topping will not cover fruit).
Bake 25 minutes or until edges are light brown. Serve with ice cream. |
