MINTY GREEN TEA LEMONADE

1 (11 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, diluted with 1 can cold water
1/2 cup tightly packed fresh mint leaves
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups chilled green tea
ice cubes
sprigs of fresh mint, for garnish

Put the lemonade concentrate mixture into a medium-size pitcher and stir until thawed and blended.

In a 4-cup glass measuring cup, bruise the mint leaves with the sugar and lemon juice, using a wooden spoon. Add the chilled green tea. Stir to mix well, then let the flavors meld for 10 minutes.

Strain the tea mixture into the pitcher with the lemonade and stir well.

Pour the tea-lemonade mixture into tall glasses filled with ice. Garnish with mint sprigs and serve immediately.

Serves 2 to 4
