CHOW MEIN NOODLE CASSEROLE

"The soy sauce adds to this dish and makes it different. The noodles are crunchy and ready to use straight from the can."

1 pound hamburger
2 cups water
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 onions, chopped
2 cups celery, chopped
1/2 cup rice, uncooked
4 teaspoons soy sauce
1 to 2 cups chow mein noodles (for topping)

Brown hamburger; drain. Mix with the remaining ingredients, except chow mein noodles. Place in a 2-quart casserole.

Cover and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 1 1/2 hours.

When done, remove cover and sprinkle chow mein noodles over top.
