BUTTERY NOODLES WITH ALMONDS AND POPPY SEEDS

12 ounces American Beauty Medium Egg Noodles, uncooked
3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks) or margarine
1 cup slivered almonds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

Meanwhile, in skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add almonds; cook, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.

Toss hot noodles with butter mixture and remaining ingredients.

Makes 6-8 servings
