ZESTY RANCH CORN BREAD

1 1/4 cups Gold Medal all-purpose flour
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 envelope (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons spicy brown or Dijon mustard
1 egg, beaten

Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease square pan, 8x8x2 or 9x9x2 inches.

Mix flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and dressing mix (dry) in medium bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Spread in pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until light golden brown.

Makes 9 servings
