LENTIL SOUP
2 cups lentils 2 quarts water 1 cup peeled tomatoes 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup cut up celery 1/4 cup olive oil salt and pepper (to taste) 2 cups Bravo Acini di Pepe, uncooked
Wash lentils thoroughly in warm water; drain. Using 2 quarts of water bring lentils to a boil, add tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped celery, oil, and salt and pepper. Simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Add macaroni and cook for additional twelve minutes: If consistency is too thick. thin out by adding water.
