EASY SNACK CAKE
1 cup all purpose flour 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 3/4 cup milk 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, combine milk, eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add to dry ingredients. Mix to blend well. Set aside 3/4 cup batter.
Pour remaining batter into greased and floured 8 inch round cake pan.
Beat melted chocolate into reserved batter. Drop chocolate batter by spoonfulls over plain batter. Run knife through to marbleize.
Sprinkle with topping.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool, then cut into wedges.
