PINEAPPLE HULA HOOP

2 packages (3 oz. each) or 1 (6 oz.) package JELL-O Brand Lime Flavor Gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 1/2 cups lemon-lime carbonated beverage or cold water
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained and halved
8 whole blanched almonds

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add beverage and chill until thickened.

Meanwhile, arrange half the pineapple in 5-cup ring mold, placing an almond in center of each half ring. Spoon gelatin into mold and add remaining pineapple, pressing down lightly. Chill until firm, about 4 hours.

Unmold. Garnish with crisp salad greens, if desired.

Makes 5 cups or 10 servings
