Bring to a boil over low heat:2 cups lightly packed brown sugar 2 cups soft maple sugar, chopped 1 cup heavy (whipping) cream Cook, stirring slowly, for 10 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in: 1/2 cup chopped nuts Cool. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake in 375 degree F oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool. Filling will set when cold.
