SAVORY HERB SAUCE
1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon flour 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/2 teaspoon basil 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion 1 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk
Melt butter in saucepan. Remove from heat.
Stir in flour, salt, basil, pepper and onion until mixture is smooth. Gradually add Carnation. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
Serve with cooked carrots or broccoli.
