SAVORY STEAK MOZZARELLA
2 lbs. top round steak 1/2 cup flour, divided use 1/4 cup Wesson Oil 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon savory 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 cup water 1 (15 oz.) can Hunts Whole Tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can Hunts Tomato Sauce with Onions 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped green bell pepper 1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced (for topping)
Cut steak into 6 serving pieces. Lightly pound both sides of meat with mallet; dredge in 1/4 cup flour.
In large skillet, brown both sides of meat in oil. Place meat in 7x11-inch baking dish.
Add remaining 1/4 cup flour to skillet and blend in remaining ingredients except cheese. Heat sauce to boiling, pour over meat.
Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Top with cheese last 5 minutes of cooking.
