STRAWBERRY BANANA LOAF
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 (3 oz.) package Jell-0 Lemon Gelatin 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 cup boiling water 1 envelope Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix* 2 cups whole or sliced strawberries, sweetened
Drain pineapple, measuring syrup. Add water to syrup to make 3/4 cup; set aside.
Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add measured liquid. Chill until slightly thickened.
Meanwhile, prepare Dream Whip as directed on package.
Blend pineapple and about 1 1/2 cups of the prepared Dream Whip into the thickened gelatin. Pour into a 1-quart ring mold. Chill until firm - 4 hours or more.
Unmold. Fill center with strawberries and garnish with remaining prepared Dream Whip.
*Each envelope of Dream Whip, prepared as directed on package, makes about 2 cups of whipped topping.
