CHUNKY SKILLET SAUSAGE STEW

1 lb. fully cooked smoked sausage, cut into 1 1/2 to 2-inch chunks*
6 small new red potatoes, unpeeled, quartered
1 small onion, cut into 8 wedges
1 (14.5.-oz.) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 medium head cabbage, cut into 6 wedges

In large skillet or Dutch oven, combine all ingredients except cabbage; mix well. Arrange cabbage wedges over top.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Spoon sauce from skillet over cabbage wedges before serving.

*Any type of smoked sausage - Polish, bratwurst or turkey sausage — can be used in this recipe. Be sure to buy fully cooked sausage.
