LIGHT AND HEARTY BEEF SOUP

1 pound beef flank steak
1 quart beef broth
1 (5 ounce) can bamboo shoots
1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli or snow peas
1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
3 ounces Japanese-style ramen or somen noodles
1/3 cup bottled teriyaki sauce*

Slice beef thinly across the grain.

Heat broth in wok or large saucepan to boiling. Add beef and remaining ingredients; cover. Simmer over medium heat 5 minutes, or until beef and noodles are tender.

Makes 4 servings
