HERBED MEAT LOAF

1 1/2 pounds ground beef round
1 (6 ounce) can vegetable juice cocktail
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves, garlic, chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon EACH rosemary leaves and salt
1/4 teaspoon EACH powdered thyme and pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in large bowl. Pat beef mixture into loaf pan, 9 x 5 inches.

Bake meat loaf 1 1/2 hours. Let meat loaf stand 5 minutes; pour off drippings. Invert onto platter; cut into slices.
