ZESTY HOMEMADE CHILI

1 1⁄2 pounds ground beef
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1⁄2 cup water
1 cup chopped onion
3⁄4 cup chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Turn heat selector to medium and brown meat. Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe and cook 5 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly. Let pressure drop of its own accord.

Stir in kidney beans and heat through (without pressure).

CAUTION:
FOR SOUPS AND STOCKS, DO NOT FILL PRESSURE COOKER OVER 1⁄2 FULL! Operating the cooker without cooking liquid or allowing the cooker to boil dry will damage the cooker.
