GREEK LAMB BURGERS

3/4 pound lean ground lamb
3/4 pound ground turkey breast
1/2 cup crumbled reduced-fat feta cheese
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
FOR SERVING:
3 (6 inch) pitas, cut in half
6 tablespoons Easy Tzatziki Sauce (recipe follows)

Prepare grill.

Combine first eight ingredients. Divide mixture into six equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.

Place patties on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer registers 165 degrees F (be careful not to overcook). Remove from grill, let stand 5 minutes.

Place 1 patty into each pita half; drizzle with 1 tablespoon Tzatziki Sauce and serve.

EASY TZATZIKI SAUCE
Makes 3/4 cup

3/4 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons grated, peeled, seeded cucumber
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients for the sauce.

Makes 6 servings
