PIZZA PIE MEATLOAF

2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided use
1/2 cup unseasoned dry bread crumbs
1 cup tomato sauce, divided use
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup French’s Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
FOR TOPPING:
Tomato slices
Green bell pepper strips
1 1/3 cups French fried onions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine beef, 1/2 cup mozzarella, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire and oregano in large bowl; stir with fork until well blended.

Place meat mixture into round pizza pan with edge or pie plate and shape into 9x1-inch round.

Bake 35 minutes or until no longer pink in center and internal temperature reads 160 degrees F. Drain fat.

Top with remaining tomato sauce, sliced tomato and green bell pepper strips, remaining mozzarella cheese and French fried onions. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and French fried onions are golden.

Cut into wedges to serve.

Makes 6-8 servings
