MELTED CHEESE WITH MUSHROOMS
3 tbsp oil 1 onion, chopped 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped 1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 lb Monterey Jack cheese, shredded 1/2 cup Avoset whipped cream (heavy cream) corn chips (to serve)
Preheat oven to 200 degreees F.
Add the oil to a skillet. Saute the onion and green pepper for 4 minutes.
Add the mushrooms, and saute for 5 more minutes at medium heat.
In a preheated 200 degree F oven, melt the cheese for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and add the cream to the cheese, moving constantly to mix well.
Add the mushrooms and move well.
Serve hot, and if necessary, heat for 2 minutes in the microwave to melt the mixture again.
Serve with Doritos (corn chips). |
