Chilli, garlic and broccoli pasta - easy, cheap and quick to cook!
Cook one generous portion of broccoli per person in boiling water until soft enough to mash well.
Fry some garlic and red chilli pepper (quantities according to taste and bravery!) in a little olive oil until softened. Mix in the mashed broccoli, season to taste and then stir into cooked pasta.
Garnish with toasted pine nuts. Easy, healthy and delicious (and one of my husband's favourite meals, even though he's not vegetarian)!!
