PASTA WITH HOT PEPPERS
3 cups fusili pasta, uncooked 1 tbsp olive oil 1 onion, finely chopped 1 red bell pepper, minced 1 cup chopped mushrooms 2 fresh cayenne chiles, chopped 3 tomatoes, chopped 2 tbsp basil, chopped 1/2 tsp marjoram, dried 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (to serve)
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
Heat the oil and when warmed, saute the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and chiles for 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, basil, and marjoram and simmer for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
Toss the pasta with the sauce in a serving bowl and garnish with parsley before serving.
