CHILI-CHEESE BALLS8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 ounces chopped green chilies, well drained
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.
Mix all ingredients. Shape into 3-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake until set, 15 to 18 minutes. Serve immediately.
TO MAKE AHEAD:Shape appetizers and freeze. To serve, bake about 18 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen appetizers
